Yorkshire Status: Uncommon and local resident.

Sutton & Beaumont, 1989: Locally abundant in the vicinity of ponds and sluggish water throughout vice-counties 61 to 64 and sometimes attracted to MV light well away from such habitat.

Argus 69, 2013: A widespread and often common moth in the southern half of the county, now recorded in all five Yorkshire vice-counties.
